This enables NRMCC to quickly respond to customer requests for environmental data with accurate and verified environmental impact information for any mix. “It’s important to measure embodied carbon in concrete and generate EPDs efficiently; it’s a gamechanger for many of our customers,” Halverson says.
Concrete Designer allows engineers to quickly calculate and document the embodied emissions of any new mix design. This system generates a report that includes the mix design and all associated environmental impacts, enabling close collaboration with the building design community early in a project cycle.
